OCTOBER 2011      Happy Halloweeeeen!

 

October 29 and 30 -
Sooner Sieger International Show in Oklahoma City, OK
WOW!!  What a fantastic weekend!  George, Konner, Stormy and I spent the weekend at the OKC Fairgrounds an IABCA International Dog Show.  Judges were Jane Roppolo, Jean Pero, Dr. Roger Pritchard, and Don Duerksen.  Konner won two Veteran Bests In Show and one Reserve Veteran BIS!!  GO KONNER...you still got it!  His baby daughter Stormy went Best Puppy In Show....yahoo!  Plus Best Bred-by Exhibitor Puppy In Show and earned two Reserve Best Bred-by Puppy In Show.........

UKC Gateway National Show at Purina Farms in Grey Summit, MO
Another GREAT weekend for Kathy Lormis and her girls. Joy and Abbey!!  Abbey, Vizcaya Loroka Time For Advice, finished her UKC Championship title in style going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners from the puppy class...and she's only 7 months old.  YEAH...and congratulations Kathy!!

Joy, Am/UKC/Intl Ch Renaissance Loroka Dancing For Joy competed at the UKC Gateway Nationals and met with GREAT success winning the Gun Dog Group!  YEAH Joy!!

 

October 15 and 16 -
Sooner State Kennel Club in Enid, OK
Tucker, Renaissance Midnight Rider, did GREAT and went Winners Dog on Saturday under Col. Purkhiser for another point towards his championship.  Go TUCKER and great job Renea!

Jayhawk Kennel Club in Lawrence, KS
Hattie, Renaissance Maiden Gift Of Th' Dance, debuted in the show ring at just over six months of age completely owner-handled by Michelle Ptak.  She did AWESOME!!  On Saturday, under Mrs. Judy Webb, Hattie went Winners Bitch, Best Puppy, and took a Puppy Sporting Group Four!!  WAHOOOO!!  On Sunday, under Mr. Dana Cline, Hattie went Winners Bitch again.  What a weekend.  CONGRATS to Michelle and Hattie.

IN MEXICO - - - - -
Holly, Renaissance 'Til The World Ends, had another great showing and earned 2nd Runner Up Baby Puppy Best In Show.  WAHHoooooOOOO!!!  Congrats Aldo and Gerardo!!

SEPTEMBER 2011            Time for Nationals!

September 20 - 22 - Vizsla Club of America National Specialty in Denver, CO
We had a GREAT Nationals!!  Victor went Best of Opposite Sex in Sweeps and took 2nd place in his Bred-be Exhibitor class.  Fergie went 2nd in her Sweeps class behind the eventual Sweeps winner.  Konner  was Best Veteran Dog in Sweeps, 1st in Veteran Dog, 8 - 10 yrs, and later received an Award of Merit.  Flirt, as well, was selected for an Award of Merit, her FOURTH!  Thanks to Linda Clark and Jenna Iacobellis for handling Flirt so beautifully!

September 2 through 5 - Southern Louisiana Vizsla Club Specialty in Monroe, LA
Victor went Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and received an Award of Merit under judge Mrs. Paula Nykiel.  He also went Best Puppy in Sweepstakes.  At the supported entry, under Mr. Houston Clark, Victor went Winners Dog.  YEAH!!  Both majors on the same weekend!  Congrats to owners Russell and Robin Collins.

Gateway Sporting Dog Assn. in Gray Summit, MO
Fergie, Ch Renaissance Here For Th' Party, had a GREAT week of shows winning the breed four of the five days AND taking a Group Four to earn her GCh title!!  She is THE youngest bitch to earn her Grand Championship at just 14 months.  YEAH!!!

APRIL 2011             It's dry, dry, DRY in Oklahoma!

April 24 - VCC Hunt Test
Monk, Renaissance Monk The Diamond Standard, had a GREAT weekend at the VCC Hunt Test where he earned his JH title in four straight passes finishing with 9s and 10s.  Completely owner-handled to his title, we are so happy for owners Rich and Sharon Kennedy.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Paris had two sons from two different litters finish their Junior Hunter titles this weekend.  YEAH Paris!!

April 23 - VCC Hunt Test
Peyton, Renaissance The All-American Boy, was just that in the field today earning his Junior Hunter title for owner-handlers Nick and Amy Warwick.  We and momma Paris are SO PROUD of you!!!!  AWESOME!!!

April 22 -
Odi, Renaissance Shining Dawn, goes Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Vizsla Puppy, and later WON the Puppy Sporting Group owner-handled!!  WOW!!  What a day for Odi and owner Jon Kaufman.  YEAH Odi!!

April 18 - Flirt whelps her first litter, sired by Konner early this morning.  She has eight puppies, 3 males and 5 females.

April 16 and 17 - Cholula Dog Show, Puebla, Mexico
Rosita, BIS RBIS Mex CH Renaissance Pink ChaCha, was honored with back-to-back Reserve Best in Show wins under USA judge Marjorie Martorella and Venezualan judge Maurico Valadez.  CONGRATS!!!! 

April 16 and 17 - Austin Kennel Club shows in Austin, TX
Fergie goes Best of Breed under Col. Purkhiser and Best of Opposite Sex under Mrs. Paula Nykiel fora few more points towards her Grand Championship title.   

MARCH 2011             Is it SPRING yet!

March 28 - Sadie whelps her litter, sired by Konner.  She has six puppies, 2 males and 4 females.

March 18 - 20 - Show-Me Vizsla Club Specialty weekend in Kansas City, MO
ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND!!  Konner wins his 20th Specialty going Best of Breed under judge Ms. Denny Mounce at the Show-Me Vizsla Club Specialty......and earns his GRAND Championship title!!

March 4 thru 6 - Gateway Vizsla Club Specialty weekend at Purina Farms, MO
WHAT A WEEKEND!!  Konner debuts as a Veteran and goes Select Dog at the Gateway Vizsla Club Specialty #1 under judge Linda Robey.  Later that afternoon, Konner WON the 2nd Gateway Vizsla Specialty under judge Donna Buxton for his 19th Specialty WIN!!!  YEAH!  Konner also won the breed on Saturday and Sunday earning 4 majors towards his Grand Championship title.
