Conformation: 1996 Vizsla Club of Northern California Specialty Best of Winners from the Bred-by Exhibitor class at 12 months for a 5-pt major. Earned his first major going Best of Breed over ranked specials at 10 months of age. Cody finished very quickly in limited showing. Multiple Best of Breed winner and made his cut at the 1998 VCA National Specialty in field trial condition.

Cody is a strong and powerfully built dog. He is extremely well balanced and muscular, with a long, graceful neck blending smoothly into a strong, short back. He has tremendous depth to his chest, a nice forechest and good bone. His movement is free flowing, powerful and very athletic. He has an excellent temperament and is quite a lover!

Hunting: Cody is my personal gun dog and received his Junior Hunter title completely owner handled at twelve months of age. He earned his Senior Hunter in four straight passes and his Master Hunter in five of six starts, failing only once because he dropped the bird on the retrieve. He is a natural hunter who runs very boldly and independently. He is truly a gentlemen’s hunting dog!!

Production Record: Cody has now sired four litters with his oldest get being two years of age.  It is apparent that he passes on his short, strong topline, natural hunting ability and wonderful temperament.
